Rifle Team

The Cougar Battalion Rifle Team has been an example of excellent marksmanship for the Washoe County School District. Beating most schools in the district, the Cougar shooters medaled in all positions and events. They have also attended other meets like the High Sierra Classics, two Biathlons, Junior Olympics, and Nationals. The Rifle Team is coached by SFC Mendenhall and is led by C/CPT Austin Galleron and C/LTC Ryan Massey. There are two levels, Varsity and Postal. Practices go from 2:30 to 5:00 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
